01The problem

Every missed call is a job for the next shop on Google

You can't pick up from under a sink, up a ladder or on a roof. Your customers don't wait.

  1. 01

    They call the next shop

A caller with a real problem doesn't wait for a callback. They go back to Google and call the next shop on the list.

  2. 02

    Emergencies don't keep office hours

Burst pipes and dead furnaces happen at 2 am and on long weekends. Those urgent calls come in while you're asleep.

  3. 03

    Voicemail doesn't book jobs

Someone with water on the floor won't leave a message and sit tight. By the time you call back, they've hired someone else.

39–62%

Industry studies estimate that 39% to 62% of calls to businesses never reach a person.

02How it works

From the first ring to a booked job

Follow a call through. The examples are what really lands on the phones.

  1. Step 1

    Forward your calls

Keep your number and forward it to NoMissedJobs. Or get a new local 403, 587, 780 or 825 number.

Thanks for calling Your Shop Plumbing. You've reached the AI assistant, and this call is recorded to help with your request. How can I help?

Service area check: T5J is covered

  3. Step 3

    It sorts and books

Emergencies go straight to your on-call tech. Everything else gets booked into an open slot in your calendar.

03Emergencies

Built for the 2 am call

It knows the difference between a dripping tap and a flooded basement. Emergencies reach whoever is on call, fast.

Burst pipe at 2 am

The caller is standing in water. It asks them to shut off the main, gets the address, texts your on-call plumber and offers to connect them right now.

No heat at −30 °C

A dead furnace in January is not a next-week job. It asks about babies, seniors and anyone with medical needs, flags it as an emergency and gets your on-call tech on it.

Safety first, booking second. If a caller smells gas, sees smoke or fire, or reports a downed line, it tells them to get to safety and call 911 (or the gas emergency line) before anything else.

07FAQ

Common questions

Something else? hello@nomissedjobs.ca

Will my callers know it's not a person?
Yes. Every call starts with "You've reached the AI assistant, and this call is recorded." It never pretends to be a person, and anyone who would rather talk to someone gets a callback ticket.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. Forward your existing number to it, or get a new local 403, 587, 780 or 825 number from us. You can forward all your calls, or set up your phone carrier to forward only the calls you don't answer. We'll walk you through it.
What happens with emergencies?
It texts your on-call tech right away with the address, callback number and what's wrong, and it can patch the caller straight through. For a gas smell, fire or a downed line, it tells the caller to get to safety and call 911 first.
Does it work with my calendar?
It books into your schedule and syncs with Google Calendar. It won't double-book you.
What if it can't answer a question?
It takes the caller's details as a callback ticket and texts you, so you can call back. It won't make up prices, arrival times or availability. It only quotes fees you give it, like your service call fee.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They call your number like always and get plain text messages.
What languages does it speak?
English.
What does it cost?
C$59 a month plus GST, with 200 minutes of calls included (about 65 calls at 3 minutes each). Extra minutes are C$0.25 each. Every feature is included, with no setup fee and no contract.
